Stussy Spring 2012 Lookbook
What is Love to you?
I felt like today, being Valentines Day and all, was a good day to write this post.
Stacey and I often spend our weekends (when we aren’t on the road) hunting for treasures at local estate sales and various antique shops. Recently we stumbled across a dining hutch from the mid 50′s, that we couldn’t resist. Often times your treasures come with unexpected treasures hidden inside, some good and some bad. In this case we found a man’s complete story, told by five items. An affirming, positive, letter from his son, a love letter from his wife that he received on his 50th birthday, a picture of the three of them, a job contract from The American Broadcasting Company and a four-leaf clover marked “lucky”.
Have a look. A man’s story, the thing a man loves most in life told by five items found hidden in a drawer.
What five things define you?
86,400 Seconds of Flat-Out
I just returned home from Daytona Beach. I was there experiencing my first ever Rolex 24 at Daytona. What an adventure. This race marked my final race as a full-time employee of The Racer’s Group (Sometimes ya just have to be true to yourself- you know? -good terms… still plan on working with the team- all good.
). TRG had five cars in the 50th anniversary event; coming back as defending champions made it even bigger of a deal. I was there primarily working with my good buddies Ryan and Nate, shooting another installment of internet-geared short videos.
I forced myself to stay up (minus a few unwanted cat-naps)… for the experience I guess and I didn’t want to miss anything. Besides the fact that I wasn’t behind the wheel, it was a dream come true. I feel very fortunate to be apart of so many big events, big events that I’ve dreamed of being a part of since I was a little kid.
There are 86,400 seconds in 24 hours. 24 hours of grueling white knuckled racing and TRG came up just 9 seconds short of the victory. This was undoubtably one of the strongest GT fields in the history of the sport and 2nd is damned good.
Ever wondered what five brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars look after 86,400 seconds of flat-out? Surprisingly there was really only one incident of car-to-car contact… and it wasn’t even bad. Have a look and watch for our video release early next week!
THIS is Casey Currie. YAER.
YAER. ’nuff said.
Need For Speed – The Run Promo
Another super solid production by Will Roegge and Co. (DC Chavez, Skyler, Smith and Jerimiah Morey). Great driving by Vaughn and Chris too. Love this; raising the bar.
TRG Takes on Roar Before the Historic 24
Another awesome opportunity to work with TRG, Porsche NA and Ryan. Check it out!
“A look behind the scenes of TRG, one of the most successful teams in American sports car history, as they prepare for the 50th anniversary of the GRAND-AM Rolex 24 at Daytona. They return with 23 drivers in five cars as defending champions to this historic event. TRG has celebrated four Rolex 24 wins, including an overall victory in 2003.
With 45 other GT competitors and a field about as strong as any in the history of the sport, the race is sure to be intense.
Will TRG take home its fifth win at one of the worlds most challenging races?
Stay tuned for a TRG 2012 Rolex 24 at Daytona feature video.
Catch the race on SPEED, January 28th at 3:30pm est.

A little dose of Ali inspiration. Muhammad, you are a great. Happy 70th.
Bloodmasters! Feature Video Numero Uno
Check out what happens when you give a handful of Formula D drivers free range of a racetrack, a bunch of GoPros on sticks and some broke ass 240s (aka missile cars)! I certainly admire the originality here. So from me, a big hell yes. BLOODMASTERS!!! Solid driving fellas and some nice camera work by Andy Laputka.

A tranny and some seats…
A few random shots.

I just learned that all of those people in the stands… ARE ACTUALLY JUST COLORED SEATS!
Nitto Tire: 25 Hours of Thunderhill by YAER Productions
The 25 Hours of Thunderhill is one of the longest, most grueling racing in the world. YAER Productions had the chance to go down to Northern California and cover the journey of the Nitto Tire E36 M3 that was set to take on the task. This race is different that all of the other racers I’ve posted about, in that it is a club race. Though some Pros show up and join in, the field is full of amateur club racers. Check out the video!
